Cyprus Credit Union now offers Direct Connect to download account information into Quicken® 2004 & 2005, and Microsoft® Money. Here are some advantages:
- No manual data entry – Once you're set up, you
can download all your transactions right into Quicken 2004 &
2005, and Microsoft Money—instead of typing them in by hand.
- Automatically reconcile data – Direct connect
data includes complete transaction and balance information to make
categorization and account reconciliation easy.
- No duplicate transactions – Direct Connect incorporates a special transaction-matching algorithm that prevents the download of duplicate transactions.

Quicken: To enable Direct Connect for Quicken printed instructions are available.
To download and save these instructions, right-click on the link and select 'save target as' to save to your PC.

Important Note for Quicken users: Quicken 2005 will no longer support QIF manual downloads. 2004 will support manual and direct connect. Versions prior to 2004 will only support manual downloads.

Important Note for Money users: Microsoft Money requires a PIN # of at least 5 digits. If your PIN # is only 4 digits, please login to the Home Banking Page and click on the button, 'change your password.'
MANUAL DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
Home Banking account download
- Set up your browser to download your account information in the correct format. (For instructions click here.)
- Enter Home Banking. (For instructions click here.)
- Select the Cyprus account you want to download.
- Click the Download button.
- Select a format (Quicken, Microsoft Money, or Microsoft® Excel).
- Click Download to continue.
- Your computer should prompt you to save/open the file. Click OK.
Enter Home Banking.
Setting up your browser
Select the Internet browser you are using:
Configure File/MIME Types for Windows 2000
- Open Windows Explorer, from the menu choose Tools then Folder Options and click the File Types button.
- Click the New Type button to add a new entry.
- In the Create New Extension dialog box, type either "OFC" or "QIF" in the File Extension text box and click OK.
- Back in the File Types tab, click the Advanced button. Next to the Actions text box click the New button and type "open" in the Action text box.
- Type either the default path (see below) or the file path that was used during installation in the Application text box or use the Browse button to search for the executable program file.
The default path for Money is: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\mnyimprt.exe" "%1".
The default path for Quicken is: "C:\Program Files\Quicken\qw.exe" "%1".
- Click the OK and Close buttons to save the changes and close the windows.
Configure File/MIME Types for Windows XP
- Open My Computer, from the menu choose Tools
then Folder Options.
- In the Folder Options window, choose the File
Types tab.
- Click the New button to set options for the QIF
extension.
- In the Create New Extension dialog box, type
either "OFC" or "QIF"
in the File Extension text box.
- Choose "<new>" from the Associated file
type drop-down box and click OK.
- Back in the Folder Options window choose the
File Types tab. Highlight the "OFC"
or "QIF" extension in the Registered
file types scroll box and click the Advanced
button.

- In the Edit file type dialog box, check the New
button next to the Actions box.
- In the New Action dialog box type "open"
in the Action text box. Click the Browse
button next to the Application text box to go to
the correct path for the program - either the default path (see
below) or the file path that was used during installation.
The default file path for Money is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\mnyimprt.exe".
The default file path for Quicken is"C:\Program Files\Quicken\qw.exe".
Highlight the file and click the Open button.
- Click OK in the New Action dialog box.
- Close the Folder Options and My Computer windows.
